- FDI - Fiduciaire de Distribution Internationale was established in 1984, as part of the Bourgey Montreuil transport group, by Conrad Achino who retired in 2001.
- FDI Logbox is now managed by Dominique Chatelin.
- FDI Logbox was originally set up to meet the needs of manufacturers of consumer goods wishing to sell directly to foreign wholesalers, without creating a subsidiary or going through an importer. Companies in this situation often face difficulties following up customer accounts, primarily due to legal, cultural and linguistic differences.
- The FDI Logbox network has been built gradually by opening wholly owned subsidiaries in Europe and North America. : FDI Benelux was established in 1985, followed by FDI Germany the same year, then from 1986 to 1992, FDI Spain, FDI UK, FDI Austria, FDI Italy, FDI Portugal and last but not least, FDI USA in 1997 to offer an access to North America, from our New York city office.
- Originally a subsidiary of the Bourgey Montreuil group , FDI Logbox's has been spin off in 1999 and is now run as an independent company, with ING Parcom, as its main shareholder.
