The distribution in Italy

Italian distribution is very fragmented with a bigger presence of small independent stores than in the other European countries
However, their part have decreased a little bit (46,7% of market shares for the Textile/Apparel market in 2006, against 48.3% in 2005) because the situation is evolving towards international standards: Increasing of mono-brand chains, shopping centers...

Italy owns more than 50,000 shops in the whole country, which creates a very large distribution channel to work with.

FDI Logbox Italy is partner with CIBM (Camera Italiana Buyer Moda), an association which associates the 100 best Italian Fashion multi-brand shops of high range. FDI Logbox and the CIBM have concluded an agreement of partnership to optimize the relationship with shops regarding business, credit granting and terms of payment.
